Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CanineCase, including our website and software (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, starting a free trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Who we are
CanineCase is operated by an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia, trading as CanineCase. References to “we,” “us,” or “CanineCase” in these Terms mean the operator of the Service.
3. Description of the service
CanineCase is software designed for solo dog behavior trainers. The Service helps you manage dog records, client and owner details, session notes, package and payment-status tracking, and voice recordings. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
4. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to update it when it changes.
5. Subscriptions, billing, and payments
CanineCase is offered as a paid subscription at $29 per month after any free trial. A credit card is required to start a free trial; you will not be charged until the 30-day trial period ends, and you may cancel at any time before then to avoid being charged. If you choose to subscribe, payment is processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for CanineCase. Your card or bank statement will show “Paddle,” not “CanineCase.”
You may cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current paid billing period. We do not store your raw payment card details; Paddle handles payment processing and related billing information.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or automated abuse.
- Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service except as permitted by law.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use or that infringes the rights of others.
We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
7. User content and data
You retain ownership of the content and data you submit to the Service, including dog records, client and owner information, session notes, and voice recordings. You grant CanineCase a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service (for example, to transcribe voice notes or send owner emails you approve).
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to collect, store, and process any client or owner data you enter into CanineCase, including obtaining any consents required under applicable privacy laws.
You may export your data before cancelling your account. For more detail on how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Policy.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers for payments, AI processing, hosting, email delivery, and other infrastructure. Your use of those features may be subject to the terms and policies of those providers. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
9. Intellectual property
CanineCase owns the Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or other intellectual property except the limited right to use the Service as described here.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
CanineCase uses AI to transcribe voice recordings and structure session notes. AI outputs are a starting point only. They are not a substitute for your professional judgment and do not constitute veterinary, legal, or other professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before relying on it or sharing it with clients.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CanineCase will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or $100 if you have not paid us, whichever is greater.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends, but sections that by their nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Georgia, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
